Official Selection - SheNYC Arts Off-Broadway Festival
Wilderness! was selected as one of eight pieces out of 400 submissions from around the country for an off-Broadway theater festival, to be hosted at Classic Stage Company.
Finalist - New Musical Project
​An annual festival showcasing scenes and songs from new musicals through the Parlando School of Musical Arts. "My Best Try" from Wilderness! will be performed as part of a cabaret performance in Boulder, Colorado on August 2nd, 2025.
Artist in Residence - Vox Feminarum
Rona was as a lyricist to be paired with an international composer to develop a new musical. Vox Feminarum is dedicated to uplifting the voices of female composers in classical music, opera, and musical theater.
2024
Finalist - Write Out Loud Songwriting Contest
"Things Will be OK!" from Vincent was performed at 54 Below on September 9th, 2024 as part of a cabaret performance featuring the finalists and winners of Write Out Loud. The song was one of 13 winners and finalists out of around 300 submissions. Check out the performance by Cara Rose DiPietro here!
Semi-Finalist - Irons in the Fire at Fault Line Theatre
Qatha was selected as a semi-finalist for development at Fault Line Theatre's Irons in the Fire play development program.
Official Selection - Emerging Artists Festival
Vincent was chosen as an official selection of the Emerging Artists' Spark Theatre Festival. A staged reading of the full production was held at the Chain Theater on September 24th, 2024.
Official Selection - Eden Prairie Players' Women+ One Act Play Festival
The short play "Parental Guidance" was one of six chosen works to be presented at the Eden Prairie Players' theater in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
